If a patient has pharyngitis, he usually has a decrease in appetite. Moreover, every attempt to swallow something is accompanied by unpleasant pain in the throat. Therefore, nutrition during acute inflammation of the pharynx should be light, sparing, in order to exclude additional injury to the mucous membranes.

We recommend eating small meals 5-6 times a day.
All meals should be warm, as too hot or cold food can provoke a sore throat.
For the same reason, it is better to refuse products with a sharp taste (spicy, sour), too hard, scratching the mucous membranes (crackers, chips, etc.).
Too fatty, fried, smoked dishes are contraindicated.
