Have I reached the age where I start entering marathons š«£š«£
Iāve put way too much pressure on myself for way too long.
So yeah, Iām eating noodles on a day off.
And no, it doesnāt ruin anything.
If it takes me longer to get leaner, so be it.
Iād rather take 24 weeks and enjoy my life than rush 8 weeks and feel miserable.
This year is about balance, iām not trying to step on stage anytime soon. Iām trying to build a physique that Iām proud of and a physique Iām confident in!! Progress doesnāt disappear because of one meal or one day off, REMEMBER THAT!!

Weekly round up š
Slightly different week this week, no training until the end of the week as Iāve been trying to get back into some sort of routine post New York. As you can probably tell⦠we fully enjoyed the trip, lots of food, drinks and just living life which was exactly what I needed.
That said, by the end of the week I was definitely ready to get back into the gym and back into some structure.
An absolute fave šŖ½šŖ½

Deficit Diaries ā Week 4/12
This week wasnāt a write-off, but it also wasnāt 100%.
Some days were solid, some sat closer to maintenance. Work was full on, my priorities were other things this week and thatās ok. It does mean that training, cardio and even my education took a bit of a back seat.
And hereās the big learning for meā¦
Iām actively trying to take the pressure off myself with this diet.
Yes, I want to look leaner by the end of these 12 weeks but Iām not stepping on stage. A couple of imperfect days genuinely do not matter in the grand scheme of things.
Iāve spent years dieting with deadlines, extremes and āno room for errorā, and Iām consciously choosing to do this differently. Slower, calmer, more sustainable. If things donāt go exactly to plan, itās not the end of the world and Iām done putting so much f*cking pressure on myself over it.
The win this week? I didnāt let last week continue into this one. Nutrition is back on track, cardio is coming back into the routine, and we move forward without guilt.
From here on, Iām genuinely trying to diet more intuitively, trusting the process, not panicking when things arenāt perfect, and letting consistency do the work, because iām l fed up of causing myself unnecessary stress.. I needed this not so perfect week as a bit of turning point tbh
