This is Facebook post from a practitioner asking how to buy saline for injection. The reply is from another practitioner stating how to make saline for injection at home (via chat GPT). The practitioner states that she makes saline to inject her patients.

Incredibly dangerous and unsafe practice. Regulation is needed, and fast.

If you are a patient always ask to see what is being injected. Ask to see the vial, ask to see the syringe. It is the only way to assure yourself that you are getting the correct treatment and not some cheap knockoff product, or as above, an injectable that is made at home!

I show my patients exactly what I am injecting.

The duration of the effects of anti-wrinkle injections varies from person to person and depends on various factors such as the type and amount of product used, the individual's metabolism, and the location and severity of the wrinkles being treated. However, on average, anti-wrinkle injections can last anywhere from three to six months. It's important to note that repeated treatments are often necessary to maintain the desired effects.

Illegal Botox is a major problem that poses a serious threat to public health. Botox, a type of toxin, is a popular cosmetic treatment that is often used to reduce wrinkles and improve the overall appearance of the face. However, when Botox is administered by unlicensed and unqualified professionals in unsanitary conditions, it can have serious and potentially life-threatening consequences.

One of the biggest risks associated with illegal Botox is the risk of infection. When Botox is injected, it breaks the skin, allowing bacteria to enter the body. Infection can cause a range of symptoms, from mild skin irritation to severe fever and even blood poisoning.

Moreover, unregulated Botox injections can lead to facial paralysis, muscle weakness, and debilitating nerve damage. This can be due to the fact that illegal practitioners are often unskilled in administering the injection, often using too much or too little of the substance, resulting in an unpredictable and uneven appearance.

Lastly, illegal Botox can be dangerous because it is often made using non-approved substances. These substances could be cheaper alternatives to the genuine Botox, designed to give the same effect. Using non-approved substances has added risk since there is no guarantee what other chemicals have been mixed in or the toxicity of each ingredient.

In conclusion, illegal Botox is a serious problem that individuals should avoid at all costs. By seeking treatment from a qualified professional who specialises in Botox injections, individuals can ensure that they receive safe and effective treatment. It is essential to prioritise your health and avoid the dangers of illegal Botox treatments.
