K value or Kapha value gives more information than calories. It not only gives us how much energy the food gives but also how easy it is to digest the food and the toxins it will leave behind. Eating 100g chicken or 100g lamb may both be say 100 calories but chicken has a lower K value. Are they both as easy to eat? Which is the more beneficial for the body to eat? Why?
