Quality improvement is so important in healthcare because it enhances patient safety, improves outcomes and increases efficiency. It was a great experience teaching other healthcare professionals and discussing issues in healthcare and how we can solve them.

As we’re more than half way through the year, it’s time to reflect on the past 6 months. What intentions and goals did you have in January and how far are you from those goals?

If you haven’t started or half way through; start today, there’s never a better time than the present moment ☺️
We also reflect on those who sadly didn’t make it this far, may their souls rest in eternal peace 🙏🏿
Let’s remember the memories of those we have lost as we continue to honour them🕊️
The most important thing I’ve learnt so far this year is to appreciate every single person in your life, time and memories are priceless.

Today is World Mental Health Day 🌎
Mental Health is a universal human right. The World Health Organisation estimates that 1 in 4 people will be impacted with some form of mental illness in their life. Awareness means that more people are helped and given the treatment and support they need.
Tips to improve your mental health:
Get regular exercise, make relaxation and sleep a priority, eat healthy meals, set goals and priorities, practice gratitude and reach out when you need help.
Remember to reach out to your family, friends and loved ones. Be kind to others but don’t forget to be kind to your self 🫶🏿❤️
