If the lashes don’t move… they’re not ready.
This is what I check every single time during step 1.
If the lashes:
→ move softly
→ stay in place
→ don’t spring back
They’re processed.
If they snap straight back into position?
They need more time.
This is where most lash lifts go wrong ❌
people rely on timings instead of what’s actually happening in front of them.
There is no “one timing fits all.”

Your lash lift didn’t fail because of the brand…
it failed because of technique.
And I know that’s not what most people want to hear.
But switching products won’t fix:
→ uneven lash placement
→ incorrect shield sizing
→ over-processing the tips
→ or relying on the same timings for every client
That’s where most artists go wrong.
Lash lifts aren’t about following steps they’re about understanding what the lashes are doing in front of you.
Once you understand:
→ how the lashes should sit on the shield
→ how the solution should be placed
→ when the lashes are actually ready (not just “time’s up”)
your results completely change.
This is exactly what I focus on when I teach.
Not just how to do a lash lift…
but how to get consistent, clean, high-level results every time.

In 2025 I forgot to post my work.
Not because I stopped loving it but because I don’t take on new clients anymore, so the pressure to advertise my sets just didn’t feel necessary.
But in 2026, that changes.
Even though I’ve stepped more into teaching, I can’t forget to share my work — to inspire, educate or at least be able to reflect on my work.
So yes… I’m posting again (clients expect to be photographed again 🤣🤍)

What a year 2025 has been.
I started this year with one promise to myself: face my fear of failure and do it anyway.
And I truly did.
From hosting my very first community event in February for Valentine’s with the help of & to standing on stage speaking in front of 150 people , something I once would have avoided at all costs, this year pushed me far beyond my comfort zone.
After returning from Cyprus in May, I was more determined than ever to relaunch our academy with intention and impact. In under four months, we taught and supported over 50 students, helping them build real skills, confidence and careers in the beauty industry.
It hasn’t all been easy. Some plans didn’t unfold as expected and there were moments of self-doubt, multiple health scares and feeling like I still had something to prove. Yet in November, I achieved a long-held goal by stepping into a beauty lecturing role at the college I once studied at, which is deepening my education knowledge and strengthening my commitment to raising standards in our industry.
Along the way, I’ve met inspiring people, built meaningful friendships and created a community rooted in growth, learning and support.
2025 taught me that success isn’t about perfection , it’s about courage, consistency and showing up even when it feels uncomfortable. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built so far and even more excited for what’s next.
Here’s to growth, purpose and doing it anyway ✨

Before ➝ After
For the last few years, I’ve specialised in nurturing Asian lashes — learning their growth patterns, strength, direction and how they respond to different lifting methods.
So when the Korean Lash Lift technique emerged, I was immediately intrigued. Not because it was “trending”… but because it made sense.
It challenged traditional approaches and pushed me to refine my artistry even further.
That curiosity turned into education — and after months of teaching this method to other artists, I’m proud to share that we’ll be launching our Korean Lash Lift Master Class in 2026, designed for qualified, experienced lash lift artists ready to elevate their skill set.
Growth in this industry comes from understanding why, not just how 🤍

Yesterday I had the absolute honour of being invited to speak about my journey from alumni to educator for 30th anniversary✨
The pressure was real though… especially knowing I was following in the footsteps of the iconic Caroline. 😅 I’m pretty sure the only thing carrying me through was adrenaline and a very determined smile!
What made it even more special was standing in a room filled with beauty industry pioneers — people shaping the future of the industry in ways that inspire me daily. Being able to share my story in that space was surreal and genuinely humbling.
Grateful for every moment, every opportunity, and every reminder of how far the journey has come. 💙✨

✨ August at Affinity – what. a. month! ✨
From kicking things off by training our amazing students in both lash lifts and classic lashes 👩🏫,to celebrating a huge milestone – 6 years of Affinity 🎉🥂 – this month has been nothing short of unforgettable.
And just when we thought we’d seen it all… ended the month with an unexpected hospital stay 🏥🙃 (definitely not on the vision board for 2025!).
It’s been a whirlwind of growth, celebration, and curveballs – but that’s life, isn’t it? Grateful for every single moment and all of YOU who make this journey worth it 🩵
