Morning lovely people!

I hope you’re all settling into September well whether that means kids back at school or just an appreciation (or not) for the cooler autumn days 🍂

I am definitely one of those autumn fans and just love the change in the air and the colours in the trees.

Only five weeks away from welcoming baby number two now so I’m continuing to take things slowly.

I might do a giveaway in a couple of weeks to celebrate the little one’s arrival…what do you think? Let me know in the poll!

It’s been a minute hasn’t it!

I hadn’t intended on taking a break for the entirety of August, but that’s exactly what’s happened.

Hope you all managed to have a lovely summer - there were some nice weather days along the way!

A combination of being increasingly pregnant and running after a toddler plus some changes in my wider family mean I just haven’t had a chance to catch my breath.

My favourite story of our small business so far!

Back in January, I attended an online workshop with Laura which not only was super useful and helpful in refining our direction for using social media but it also introduced me to some other amazing small business owners. One of whom was Esther who creates beautiful engraved natural wooden items.

While searching for a sustainable soap dish for our collection, I got in touch with Esther who was able to source these gorgeous olive wood dishes for us and have them hand engraved with our logo.

The wood that is used for our dishes comes from Olive trees that have finished fruiting and so repurposes the wood so that new trees can be planted.

So alongside finding an amazing product that completely fits our ethos and brand, I was also able to work with two amazing other female small business owners to bring this to fruition.

Not only did Laura bring us together through her workshop, but she is also our amazing product photographer who creates our imagery and really brings to life everything our brand is all about!

Hi all! It’s been a long weekend for me over here as we were so lucky to be invited by a friend to go and watch the British Grand Prix (any other formula 1 fans out there?)

Hope the start of your week has gone well. Only a few more weeks for those of you with children in school till the summer holidays!
