They will transform the industrial site into a new biodiverse park, home to the first public swimming ponds in the UK to be cleaned naturally by reeds and aquatic plants. Plans also include community spaces and a forest school space.

• You will be able to swim all year round in rainwater cleaned by reed beds and aquatic plants.

• You will be able to meet people and develop ideas in beautiful and truly affordable community spaces.

• You will be able to give different aspects of sustainable living a go.

• And your children will be able to learn with nature in a forest school space, becoming resilient, independent and creative young people in amongst the trees and in the sunshine and the rain.

What can we offer ...

The Garden room is a small friendly boutique salon . We can offer flexible work hours within our opening hours and an inclusive work environment. We are looking to add a team member so we can expand to meet demand
We are looking for someone who is passionate and good at what they do who develops themselves as the hairdressing industry changes. We often go on courses together. The ability to do both ladies and gents would be great. Colour is the backbone of our service so being able to do both highlights and balayage will go a long way.
We are a Davines salon sustainability is important to us. Product ( colour) training can be given.
This is a self employed position with an hourly rate ( depending on experience) this gives you the chance to build your clients with the reassurance of a base salary. Commission is paid after targets are reached.

A minimum of 5 years experience. We need to know that whoever sits in your chair will get listened to, advised and leave feeling great about their hair be it in one visit or have a plan in place to get them where they want to be.
