I’ve got some recent blog posts to share with you today, starting with the beautiful new body washes from NEOM, which are every bit as luxurious as you would expect.
Next up I have an introduction to Vita-Sol, a supplement brand who have recently launched in the UK. If you’re like me and a big believer in the skincare benefits of taking the right supplements, you’re going to love these guys.
Finally, a look at the awesome Skintruth range, which not only has some brilliant formulas, it’s very budget-friendly too - the BHA toner is a keeper.

Isn’t Valentino packaging just so pretty? 🤩
(Unpaid ad - PR)
Here’s my take on a bag spill done for the benefit of the feed - if it was grounded in reality there would be a lot more receipts and about five million tinted lip balms - focusing on my collection of the beautiful Spike Valentino Matte Lipsticks, alongside the travel-friendly size of my favourite Valetino scent, Born in Roma Donna. I’m going on holiday in just over a month and I’m so happy to have that size to take with me!

🩵I’m in the process of finishing up my March favourites (I know, I’m running late...) and I decided that this stunner from Alpha-H deserved a dedicated post 🩵
(Unpaid ad - PR)
I loved the original Alpha-H Hyaluronic 8 serum so I was intrigued to see what they would do with the reformulated Super Serum. They haven’t monkeyed with it too much, thankfully, but they have added Ectoin to promote a healthier skin barrier, which plays beautifully alongside the various types and weights of Hyaluronic Acid.
This is such a treat that my skin absolutely adores! If you’re familiar with my skincare story then you’ll know that I have tricky skin that reacts to lots of different ingredients and I break out very easily. This serum has given my skin a huge boost of hydration, plays well with all other skincare, sits well under makeup and feels lovely to use too. The only downside is that it’s quite spendy at £50 a pop, but hold on for deals; I’ve just bought a backup at Cult Beauty using a discount code that got it down to a slightly less painful £40 🩵

I turn 42 today. I started my blog when I was in my twenties and now I’m fully middle aged and still at it - madness!
My lovely late Dad said that the sun always shines on my birthday, so it always makes me happy to see the sun come out today 💜

💜For day two of my very own fragrance week, I’m sharing with you my perfect little Valentino collection 💜
(Unpaid ad - PR)
From the stunning, studded bottles to the incredible selection of fragrances, Valentino really gets their perfumes right, don’t they?
From dinky to chunky, here’s a quick overview of my Valentino trio:
🖤Born in Roma Donna Intense: that perfect little baby on the right packs an impressive punch of vanilla and jasmine (literally my two favourite notes) which sit upon a balancing base of benzoin resin.
🩷Born in Roma Donna: the middle fragrance has a bright and fresh opener with lots and lots of jasmine at the heart and a vanilla-y, woody base.
💜Donna Born in Roma Purple Melancholia: I am such a sucker for a purple bottle, and this one is the sexiest of the bunch, with a beautiful plum explosion at the top, charming and delicate osmanthus at the heart and a tried-and-tested vanilla base.
Obviously they are all stunning, but if forced to pick just one, I think I’d go for the original Born in Roma Donna (give me all the jasmine) as I think it’s the most versatile of the three, working beautifully for both day and night wear.

Have you attended the amazing DCYPHER Beauty Concierge at Covent Garden yet?
(Unpaid ad - PR/press event)
This gorgeous popup is showcasing some of the best independent beauty brands, giving people a chance to get up close and personal with products they normally might only find online, so if you’re a big beauty fan and are heading to Covent Garden before the 6th March, make sure you drop in!
Here’s a quick look at what you’ll get to see:
Photos 1 and 2: love Hildun Beauty so much and have always wanted to see more of their products in person. How stunning are those single eyeshadow pots?? 🤩
Photos 3 and 4: I’m not familiar with Klira skincare - a range of bespoke skincare with high dose (prescription) actives - but it looks very impressive 👌🏻
Photo 5: Rum, another favourite and a brand you need to know if you’re like me and a tubing mascara fan. I have both shades of their mascara now and they are both gorgeous. So excited to see they’ve launched an eyelash curler! 🖤💙
Photo 6: What’s That Patch have a huge range of transdermal patches that cater to so many needs, I’ve earmarked about five that I need in my life ❤️🩹
Photo 7: another range where I just want absolutely everything, look at all those REESON pretties 😍
Photo 8: Get your perfect DCYPHER shade mixed up whilst you wait! 💗
Photo 9: The DCYPHER machine that works the magic, providing not only your perfect colour match, but your perfect coverage and finish too 🤓
Photo 10: I have been dying to ask DCYPHER to do this for me so I was very happy to have the opportunity: I got my neck and face scanned to see how different the shades were; as you can see, not only is the shade different but so is the undertone! This is why I always try to get my base products to match my neck if I can 😱
The DCYPHER Beauty Concierge is open now and will be there until 6th March, which is just over a week from now, so don’t waste any time and head there immediately, if not sooner.
Located at 29 Henrietta Street, WC2E 8NA, open Mon-Saturday 11-7 and Sunday 11-5 from now until 6th March 2026.

When it comes to Mugler fragrances, are you an Angel or an Alien?
(Unpaid ad - PR)
As an introduction to the fascinating range of Mugler scents, I was sent two very different perfumes to experience; Angel - a sweet and fruity gourmand that sits on top of a patchouli base, or Alien - an aggressively jasmine led scent that’s lightly balanced with a touch of amber.
As someone who will stop and inhale big lungfuls of jasmine whenever I come across it, I was never going to be anything other than an Alien (no surprises there) and what I like about both of these fragrances is that they’re pretty polarising and definitely not crowd-pleasers, so you’re likely love one or the other but probably not both!
Let me know which one you think you’d prefer, and I hope you have a lovely weekend xx
