I mean, am I magician or what 😝 if you're interested in how I did this without bleach, let me know and I might break down the process 😏 because I used a product everyone HATES but actually doesn't utilise it well in the salon 🀫

I can't remember who I saw doing this technique so I'm so sorry, but actually was so much fun to get this technique and have some fun. Painting hair is such a different vibe than doing it in "sections" and especially if you're doing colours that are meant to go together and blend as one πŸ’• I hope you found it fun πŸ˜πŸ’œ

If you had to live through the 2016 ashy hair trend, just know that I FEEL THE PAIN HAHAHA. Honestly though, when I look back at how obsessed every single client was with no yellow or warmth it actually makes me weep with happiness when a client comes in and wants to have a beautiful gorgeous tone. SHSS AN ASHY CONVERT BABY!!! let me know what you think

Inspired by my friend who shared her grey blending faded, this is how one of my regular clients Annie's grey blending faded out!
NOW I KNOW WHAT YOURE GOING TO SAY..."it's not grey blending unless it's grey" well, I disagree and that's what I like to call grey MATCHING. In the salon we have seen so many of our clients opt towards a grey blend still@getting coverage but allowing softness of the white hair and less of a harsh grow out, which to me is still getting revenue for your salon, but allowing that client to feel so much more confident that their hair will look fabulous during the entire grow out period πŸ’• let me know what you think!

This is the perfect way to get an incredible lilac result on your clients hair! The silk bathing method was developed to allow colours to build on top of one another, and this method is absolutely SLAY for creating soft delicate tones for the ultimate lilac hair πŸ’•let me know if you try it 😝

If your client is obsessed with chasing the ash, just know that NOTHING will prepare them for when they finally give up that sh*te and get on with having natural beautiful SUN-KISSED HAIR!!
My client Leanne actually cried (happy tears!) when she saw her new hair because legit it made her look TANNED ASF! But in all seriousness this beautiful result will blend naturally with her hair and make it fade out so gently and naturally with the sun β˜€οΈ and I'll see her again in 5/6 months to refresh it πŸ˜πŸ’…

If you've ever wondered why or when to do a freehand vs a foil this is your go to guide on why freehand works or doesn't work for your clientπŸ’…
1. The suitability of the client! If the client has high lift expectations and doesn't ultimately want a soft result then a freehand isn't going to be for them!
2. The brush you use is massively going to impact the result, remember a softer bristled brush with a non straight edge is going to make your application softer!
3. Saturation = LIFT! When doing a freehand, you want to apply a softer result at the root area moving into a further saturated lengths which is going to give you untainted lightness through the lengths!

The best way to get lilac hair is to apply it in layers using a silk bathing method πŸ’œ I think applying it raw can be scary especially because it can be too blue or purple on first application and you never know until it's rinsed off πŸ‘€ let me know if you try it πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ’•
