Almost 3 years ago I recognised there was a gap in the beauty service industry. I realised that not everyone was as passionate and as attentive when it came to customer service.

Clients would often tell me about their horror stories, from hairstylists with unfair policies and practices to lash artists stealing from them during their appointment. I realised that many people were qualified, but only a few had the tools to provide exceptional customer service.

Thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey so far, it’s been a crazy yet amazing ride and I’m truly so grateful for all the people I’m so blessed to call my clients, whether you’re a regular client or you come to me once a year, I’m truly honoured that you trust me with your lashes (and you’re juicy life stories too😅)

I decided that I just want to do things that make me happy, and although I may not be as present on social media as I once was, my days are joy filled knowing that I get to come to work for myself and interact with people that value me the way I value them. Some days are hard I’ll be honest, but I can’t deny the fact that I’m honestly blessed to be able to wake up each day and call this my job ❤️

After much deliberation, I have decided to close my calendar to all new clients and exclusively be open to clients on The Lash Membership only.

This decision hasn’t come lightly, as you all know I’m extremely passionate about my job and there’s nothing I love more than making you all feel so beautiful! It truly makes my day🥹 But in an effort to be transparent, consistently overextending, overbooking and overworking myself has taken a toll on me.

If you’re a new client wishing to book in a one off full set, from the 1st July please give me 6-8 weeks notice for this.

The Lash Membership is still currently closed, but regular clients will be given priority should a space become available🫶🏽

This does not affect lash lift appointments ☺️

I could leave this in my camera roll because I simply didn’t brush the inner corner lashes properly or… just say f*ck it and post!

My name is Daniela and I’m the owner of Blink by DGC☺️

It’s been a while since I’ve reintroduced myself so here we go! A few facts about me 👇🏽

✨ I’ve been in the industry for nearly 9 years😱

✨I’m Portuguese and Angolan. I was born in Portugal and came to London when I was 6! Sometimes I forget how to say things in English because my brain is in temporary Portuguese mode 😅

✨ I’m a sucker for love! While my clients are sleeping during appointments, I’m most likely listening to a romance novel! ❤️

✨ The first time I ever did a full set of classic lashes, it took me 5 hours🙃

✨ I love providing amazing customer service. It truly makes me happy knowing that someone’s day is better and I could contribute to that🥰

✨ I did laser eye surgery 4 years ago and to this day it is the best thing I have EVER done for myself!🤩 Can’t stress how much my quality of life has improved from doing it!

✨ I’m a middle child AND a Ta**us. Do with that information what you wish🤭😂
