Its aim is to provide affordable learning opportunities to people from the disadvantaged social economic background. Syllabuses include hair and beauty therapy, handmade beauty products
We have decided to start SKILLADEMY from the ground up based on our skills, knowledge, and experience. As a qualified Hairdresser and Beauty Therapist, with 17-year experience in marketing and delivering, we intend to take SKILLADEMY forward by focussing on sharing the hair and beauty skills only at the start-up. This includes Braids, Cornrows, Weave-on and Hair-extension, Inter-locks, Dread-locks, Eyebrow shaping, Mini facial, and Makeup

Social value and Ethical concern
The aims of SKILLADEMY is to provide skills, knowledge, and experience to the disadvantaged people in low or with no income, who are willing to learn or enhance their skills in hair and beauty therapy in London borough of Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham, and surrounding. The service will be also opened to all those who would like to have knowledge in the field of hairdressing and beauty. Any profit made will be reinvested back into the community through acquiring more skills. The organisation will operate as a CIC Foundation Model. SKILLADEMY will be run by a small group of people (the charity trustees) who make all key decisions. It also looking to own property, employ staff and enter into other contracts in its own name (rather than in the names of the trustees). Our Mission: To tap into the untapped skills through necessary skill sharing which will enhance community cohesion, self-esteem and will aid to better chances of employment. Our Motto: Working, learning and sharing through the eyes of Community Development.
