🤎 explains why sometimes a hairstylist’s “day off”
Isn’t always a day off ⬇️

Here’s what you can find us doing, most of which we are physically unable to do while “doing hair” ⬇️

✨texting/calling clients back. We want to schedule you / aren’t avoiding you. (Sometimes we aren’t able to immediately because our hands are literally occupied) + sometimes we just need a minute

✨Stocking up on products. Most supply stores=general hours. We may work past those hours that means when we aren’t working, or have a day off is the only time to pick up products so we are able to do our jobs.

✨Creating content. We’re in the age of social media. The #1 way to generate & maintain clients is the web. How do we stay relevant, connected + appealing to you? By creative content. This takes work & is another job outside of hair.

✨Checking inventory. We need to make sure we have what we need throughout each day. It’s not just “color” it’s color developer lightener foils gloves combs products tools etc without 1 of those we may be unable to perform our service correctly. not a 1 color thing here

✨Cleaning We are licensed in the highest sanitation & are constantly cleaning.

I know there’s more I’m missing but you get the point. If your hairstylist is unable to connect back with you immediately please give them leniency. We aren’t ignoring you, we are likely busy Or maybe we need to decompress. Whatever it may be just know our jobs go beyond just “doing your hair.”
