Let’s talk acne. Yes, it’s stressful, yes it’s annoying but it’s something we have to deal with because... life. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I always assure my clients that it’s nothing to worry about and people are normally too self consumed to worry about what’s going on your face. First I’ll say is don’t pick at them, because they won’t heal and most likely won’t dry up because you keep reopening them.
Acne blemishes are normally related with hormones, diet and stress.
If they are hormone related use a topical treatment to dry them up quicker! Don’t... I repeat don’t use strong alcohol products that sting to try dry them up. Products such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid will help with speeding up your healing time.
It is a medical condition, so don’t judge others for it!
Okay so I’ll get into the makeup. So normally, people with acne use camouflage makeup to hide blemishes. But who wants a cake face all the time? 🙄
A full coverage foundation that offers a radiant finish is great for the summer time! I normally use Radiant Longwear foundation. Paired with Matte Veil to avoid oil production and a color correction to reduce the appearance of large bumps and pigmentations.
I also use a moisturizer with SPF to protect my clients faces against pigmentation. It saves me time from using multiple products and also allows space in my kit. On her I use No Needle Fix, which is also fantastic for mature skin!
she was so stressed before the process and acne can do that to you, but it’s fixable and I speak from experience that worrying about it will not heal it sooner! You’re an individual that is personally made so please believe that you are beautiful with or without the spots.

Feeling a lil icy, using my favorite pigment
blue brown. Perfect for giving off that chrome look! Haven’t done a full face on me for a very long time and I don’t usually post my selfies on here, but this is a personal post.

So uni is done, I’m now a 👩‍🎓 and I’m finally free to do everything I’ve been wanting to do, but starting again is tough!

God has been kind to keep me busy this past few weeks but now I can’t help if I’m doing the right thing. Meh, the only thing I can do is continue and stay positive towards my journey. The year nuh dun!

Ok this is the first PRO brush I got from and lawd I need to get the rest of the collection. This MNB811 foundation brush is actually mad fleeky. From the shape of the brush to the bristles it’s got my bases on lock! I love using it to seal in heavy concealers for a flawless and natural finish. (I snake my beauty blender to use it for foundation too... sometimes) SWIPE LEFT TO PREE THE END AND A HALF LOOK
