My spiritual home for nearly 50 years is still with me everyday in my home. Or rather my garden. For the last seven years. My beloved son believes it’s time to reconnect with my festival days of 69/71. Except, this one is more 1980’s…. I may get converted…..

Coming up to 47 years of serving the mod community. Creating happiness and keeping the faith. Still love my work and fortuitously, the opportunity to use my age to great advantage! Fours years later, I can look back at this photograph and think, ‘You don’t look half bad’. So when I was faced with a tired, ageing self glaring back at me from the bathroom mirror this morning, I recognised that in four years time, I’m gonna wish I still looked like this!! (Talking of myself here and not Allie of course who doesn’t appear to be ageing at all!) So enjoy your day everyone and meanwhile, I’ll get back to ageing in the glorious Portuguese sunshine.

This was the best Christmas present EVER from my son, Luke. Thanks to .chloe.louise.art who has captured my soul in her artwork. Everything about my beautiful salon, exterior and interior, my love of orange (and cleaning) has been captured forever. Never to be forgotten. Although my time is not over in Kingly Street, after 45 years it is time to step back and we welcome working in collaboration with Fella Hair going forward. I’ve bookended my year. Starting with Covid and ending with a fractured leg. It’s not over for the Mod Mother yet and I most definitely have NOT left the building … see you all soon.
