We just love the way these chunky braids are on trend at the moment! Quicker to style than box braids, completely protective style and embrasive of their African ancestral roots.
Many of us had similar styles as children and hated them. Thank you for all the stylists reinvigorating this little beauty 💕
Shout out to for his ongoing work and imagery

So as we are mid-week accepting invites for new events and making future plans we wanted to give one last shout out to Sample Autumn and for us having down this past weekend as part of their beauty spot.
We shared fruitful conversations about the history of braids, met fellow beauty practitioners, hooked up a whole load of hairstyles and most importantly laughed and met new people all day!
Huge thanks to our amazing stylists on the day and and for hosting an open workshop teaching newbies cornrow and braiding techniques.
We also can't forget the amazing for our press coverage and being such a superb support throughout the whole process. We appreciate you so much 😚 and look forward to working with you again

In todays society braids are presented as a trend with variations to represent on style trends and for fashion in particular for individuals going on holiday and attending festivals. Braids styles however can first be dated back to 3500BC where they were worn in Ancient Egypt by men and women. Amongst royalty elaborate braid styles were seen as a sign of staute and power with beads, jewels and adornments being added to emphasise wealth

So definitely goes out to a gorgeous London born queen Estelle who is fully representing the braids gang right now seen regularly wearing different styles for different occassions, events and looks.
Grammy award winning Estelle burst onto the British music scene in the early 2000s and has since proved to be a powerhouse of a woman, writing and singing numerous top 10 songs, acting, performing globally, establishing her own clothing line and foundation for young people empowering them to get into college . One of the few that always stay true to her self and has gone out to live the dream. Most definitely under acknowledged in the UK scene for all of her achievements so we wanted to give you a shout out not just on your gorgeous braid styles but on your work and contributions. Sister we salute you and send you many blessings. You are a true inspiration ✊💛
