Margate you absolute stunner second time round and even better the food, the coffee the views what more could a girl ask for in a staycation to unwind, hear the quiet and relax.
Highlights below:
Views - the views and beach are spectacular do me a favour book a Airbnb with a view you will thank me waking up to the waves and the beach is so peaceful calming even if the wind is blowing. Nature simply is stillness.
The FOOD - what can I say back to Angela’s the best fish/seafood restaurant I have EVER been to yes I said ever honestly go try it you will thank me. The bisque was do die for I wanted to bathe in it….don’t worry I remembered to get sourdough and mopped it all up. The chocolate cake swipe to see looks good but was UNREAL. It looks cakey right you know what I mean it’s literal melt in your mouth heaven. Coffee as always from so am amazing. Also the serving up delish sliders and more with a view to boot!
Random discoveries - wow humans are really amazing an underground cave/tunnel with 4.6 million shells in a mosaic from floor to ceiling what a treat.
Stillness by the sea time spent in quiet, meditating, relaxing, crocheting and simply being.
If you have never taken a mini break or holiday by yourself I highly recommend it go soothe your soul. Can’t wait to see my hubby and tiny humans grateful for this time and this life.

The Shell Grotto what a spectacular find in first discovered in 1835 so built before. An underground tunnel with alter floor to ceiling of mosaics made of shells…4.6 million to be exact. Stunning and quirky loved it!

15 years how can that be….a lifetime but also a moment ago. Missed always - gotta love that smile - Robert my Roro his namesake looks a lot like him and has this beautiful smile.
