Some people think relationships are a BuildABearFactory- You have no right to get involved with a person only to try to tweak them/make them more to your liking/change them. Nobody is perfect & if the things that bug you about your partner are superficial (I.e.hairstyle, dress sense, taste in music) but you have love then you really should either embrace & love their quirks or leave them to find somebody who will! Now, if the things that bug you about them are more serious (I.e.infidelity,non-committal,unreliable) then I still wouldn't suggest that you try to change them. Fundamental values like this can only be changed by the individual & only when they're ready...waiting whilst hoping that YOU can change someone is really just a waste of time. So if you have an unfaithful partner you can either accept it & bear the pain or simply move on and find someone more compatible with your core values. Whilst you might not have the power to change others, you DO have the power to change your perspective, behaviour & your approach towards relationships xMx

Too many people stay in certain situations because they fear having to start over again. But starting over doesn't have to be something negative..change your perpective. Look at it as an opportunity to start afresh, a blank canvas onto which you can paint a beautiful new picture. No matter what you are going through YOU always have the power to say enough is enough, remove yourself from negative influences & start over again...you only get One life but in that life you have unlimited chances & do-overs xMx
