PRP therapy helps many people in terms of regenerating and promoting hair growth.

It all depends on each individual patient. Some patients may see a huge difference whilst others will see a little difference.

PRP is an effective treatment for those in early stages of hair loss. It encourages hair regrowth, resulting in visibly, thicker-looking hair. It also comes with the added benefit of no allergy risks, as the blood is drawn from the patient’s own vein. We then inject these platelets into the patient’s scalp which will promote hair growth and thicken existing hairs.

What is the difference between graft count and hair counts?

We understand that there might be some confusion regarding the terms “hair count” and “graft count” in the context of hair transplant procedures. Allow us to clarify the difference between the two:
Hair count refers to the total number of individual hair strands that are present on your scalp. This includes both native (existing) hair as well as the newly transplanted hair. It is a simple measurement of the number of hairs you have before and after the procedure.
On the other hand, graft count specifically refers to the number of follicular units or grafts that are extracted and transplanted during the procedure. A graft can contain anywhere from one to four hairs, depending on the individual’s unique hair characteristics. Therefore, the number of grafts is not necessarily equivalent to the number of hairs, as multiple hairs can be present within one graft.
To summarize, hair count gives you an overview of the total number of hairs on the scalp, while graft count provides information about the number of follicular units transplanted.
