REFLECTION. I’ve been asked probably one hundred times how my time in Gambia was and every time I don’t really have a simple way of answering. The trip was amazing- I imagined it to be more emotional on me than it actually was but that’s purely because of each and every child that I met on the trip is HAPPY. The hardship a lot of these kids have been through is not something that we can really relate to in the west, but genuinely these kids are content and happy with what they have. For a lot of them- this is just the clothes on their back. I cannot wait to return! Big up on the camera 📷

WANT FOR YOUR BROTHER WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOURSELF. For a lot of the orphans in Gambia, their fellow orphans are all they have. So watching them together going through their daily routines was so refreshing, they work as a team and have ultimate respect for the leaders in the group. From the moment they wake up they follow their daily rituals of jobs etc- truly remarkable as some of these boys are no older than 6 or 7! A lesson for us all🤔
