Written by my brother-in-law ( Faisal Haq)m.haq Today, we lost a remarkable soul – my beloved father-in-law, ****** His passing leaves a void that words can never fully capture, but his life was one of extraordinary purpose, achievement, and love.

He was a man of intellect and vision, with an academic journey that inspired countless others. His professional contributions touched many lives and set standards of excellence that will continue to guide those who follow. Yet beyond his accomplishments, what made him truly exceptional was the way he lived—with humility, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.

To his family, he was a pillar of strength, offering endless love, care, and guidance. To friends and colleagues, he was a mentor, a source of wisdom, and a helping hand. Everyone who crossed paths with him benefitted from his warmth, generosity, and compassion.

Today, as we mourn his demise, not a single eye is left dry. The grief felt by all is a true testament to the profound impact he had on every heart he touched. His absence is felt deeply, yet his memory will continue to bring comfort and strength.

We will miss him dearly not just for who he was to us, but for the love he shared so freely with the world. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held after Zohr Salah at the Islamic Foundation Mosque (Nugget Mosque), at 1:35 pm, 441 Nugget Avenue, Scarborough, ON., on Tuesday September 30. The burial will follow at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa. All well wishers, friends and family are cordially requested to attend.

I will carry you with me, from my earliest childhood memories to the very last moment of your final breath. You were my constant, my unwavering source of encouragement, standing with me through both my greatest joys and my most difficult struggles. Even across thousands of miles, your love was a force that gave me strength in my moments of deepest despair. To know you was to respect you. Everyone saw you as the most peaceful of souls, a man who brought effortless laughter and genuine kindness into every life you touched.

And now, we see your spirit living on in us. Your youthful nature, your love for photography, technology, and poetry, these are not just memories, but pieces of you that you have embedded in me, my siblings, and your grandchildren. We are your living legacy. I pray these beautiful genes live on through the generations.

My heart aches with a pain I never knew possible. I don’t know how to navigate this world without your prayers, your guidance, and your steadfast support. You were, and will always be, my hero. I will miss you forever Abbu ❤️‍🩹
