Had fun creating this.. found some old props from a former look and couldn’t resist doing this. Nothing says Halloween like a creepy doll!

My transfiguration spell went wrong and the Daily Prophet seems to be taking over my body! I guess I’ll make for an interesting read!

Not a very glamorous look today and I missed using blood, but I’ve got to keep it interesting… plus anyone who knows me knows I love to get carried away with the gore, I’m trying to reign it in 😂.. I’m really looking forward to sharing my next looks with you all. I’m officially exhausted but it’s been so worth it!

Did someone say Halloween???

For those of you who know me, you’ll know how much I love to do Halloween looks, and how much I’ve missed them the last few years.
I said I would find a way this year and I did - from my bed.

You have no idea how great it feels to be able to create again. I’ve prepared a few looks for this year, providing I am well enough to pull them off. So to kick start the lead up to Halloween I went with an abstract skull.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun creating it!

My creative juices are flowing and my health is not going to stop me create some looks this year! Watch this space!

I can finally post this now that Christmas is over.. my first ever cat portrait that I painted as a gift for a special couple who tragically lost their beautiful fur baby. Now he will always be with them 🥰 it isn’t perfect, but I’m proud of it and it was the most special gift I think I’ve ever created ❤️

Hello everyone..

It’s been a long time since my last post but I think it’s important to update you with my current circumstances and whilst I will not be divulging details publicly, I feel like I owe an explanation.

As you know, I haven’t been able to do any makeup work for almost 2.5 years and I have sadly missed out on creating on your beautiful faces.
I had hoped I would be able to continue this, even part-time, but I had prepared for the worst and I have been studying at university for a career change that can suit my circumstances of the last few years.
As it stands, almost a year after a unique and major life threatening spinal surgery, my recovery is still slow and ongoing and I have now been told news of my current condition and what that holds for the future, long term.

It is with great sadness that I will never be able to do the work I did before; I will never be able to carry the load, which, those of you who have seen my kit will know just how heavy and physical this work was, so being mobile isn’t an option anymore.
However, I am still hopeful that I can do some creative makeup from home where I can adapt things to my needs depending on my physical ability, which is unknown due to the nature of this particular complex condition. It is a case of trial and error with still a very long road to whatever a new normal will look like for me.

I appreciate the loyalty and support you have shown and I really cherish the moments I had to be a part of your lives; to share the moments on your special days, boost your confidence and make a difference to your lives via my work in a way I never knew I could.

Most of all, I will miss halloween creations again this year, but don’t fret, even from a bed I can find a way to create a masterpiece. Nothing will stop my resilience and nothing will stop my ability to create, in whatever form that is - it isn’t over yet.
