Aesthetic surgery is not simply about changing how someone looks.
For me, it begins with understanding how a person feels about their appearance, what they are hoping for, and whether any proposed change truly feels right for them.
This is why listening remains one of the most important skills in my work. A consultation should never be about directing someone towards surgery. It should be about offering honest guidance, carefully considered options and the freedom to choose what feels appropriate - whether that means surgery, a non-surgical approach, waiting, or doing nothing at all.
The most important thing I can offer is not a procedure. It is choice, tailored to the individual.

Beautiful lips are rarely about volume alone.
They are about balance, proportion and how naturally they sit within the rest of the face. The lips should move comfortably when you speak, smile and express yourself, without drawing attention away from your features as a whole.
In carefully selected cases, hyaluronic acid fillers may help support hydration, restore subtle volume and refine lip definition. But the aim should never be simply to make the lips bigger. It should be to enhance what is already there with precision, restraint and a natural, balanced outcome.
Over time, hyaluronic acid fillers are naturally metabolised by the body, which is why product choice, placement, amount and clinical judgement matter so much.
For me, the most important part of any consultation is getting to know the person in front of me.
To listen properly.
To understand what they are hoping for.
To be honest about what I can and can’t offer.
When someone feels comfortable, heard and supported, that is where trust begins.

The consultation is one of the most important parts of the surgical journey. It is where trust is built, expectations are explored, and honest recommendations can be given with clarity and care.
For me, good surgical advice is not about persuasion. It is about listening properly, assessing carefully, and helping each patient make an informed decision that feels right for them.
Feedback like this is something I am always very grateful for, because feeling comfortable, heard and supported from the very first conversation truly matters.

Some of my patients have placed their trust in me for many years, returning from different parts of the world to continue their care. This is more than a professional privilege. It is a relationship built on understanding, honest communication and continuity.
Your skincare can only do so much.
When fine lines, uneven texture, visible pores, post-acne marks or dullness persist, microneedling may help support the skin’s natural repair response.
Using controlled micro-stimulation, the treatment creates controlled micro-stimulation in the skin, helping to support collagen and elastin production over time.
Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is one of the most commonly requested facial procedures for both men and women, and can be very effective in addressing early signs of ageing, helping restore a brighter, more rested appearance.
But how do you know if it is what your eye area actually needs?
A good starting point is understanding whether the concern is structural. Blepharoplasty may be considered when there is excess upper eyelid skin, heaviness, folds, prominent under-eye bags or fat pockets. In some cases, heavy upper lids can also affect peripheral vision or make the eyes feel tired and weighed down.
If the concern is mainly fine lines, discolouration, skin quality or lower-lid texture, non-surgical treatments such as peels, microneedling or polynucleotides may also be appropriate.
✨ The right treatment always starts with the right diagnosis.

Having spent almost 30 years in plastic surgery, I have learnt that skin is never just a surface to treat.
It is a living organ that reflects sleep, hydration, stress, protection, repair and the way we care for ourselves over time.
That is why my approach always begins with understanding. Not rushing. Not following every new trend. But creating a plan that respects your biology, your face and your own nature.

Over more than three decades in practice, I have seen how closely hair is tied to the way we feel about ourselves, and how quietly many people carry the experience of hair loss.
According to the British Association of Dermatologists, around 8 million women and 6.5 million men in the UK are affected by hair loss or thinning during their lifetime. For many, it can have a profound impact on confidence, identity and emotional wellbeing.
In my practice, hair restoration begins with understanding the biology beneath the surface. Depending on the individual, this may include scalp health support, microneedling, PRP or, in selected cases, more advanced regenerative approaches such as stem-cell-rich fat transfer.
The aim is not dramatic transformation, but thoughtful restoration: helping patients feel more comfortable, confident and more like themselves again.
