Jaw and chin dermal filler can help better define facial features. This lovely gent wanted a stronger jaw line to be able to gain better definition of this aspect of his face. On the second ‘after’ photo taken at two weeks post treatment, you can see a better angle of the jaw and a straighter jaw line itself. Not only is this a satisfying result to the patient, but immensely satisfying for me to be able to achieve!

The ‘11’ sign at the inner aspects of the eyebrows (or in medi-speak, the glabellar lines) can be a distressing feature for some. Did you know that men are more prone to getting these lines due to a more powerful muscle of facial expression here? This chap complained of people commenting on how ‘angry and tired’ he looked because his job involved focusing on a laptop and these lines began to develop as a result. This was easily treated by Allergan’s Botox and it’s safe to say, he is now one happy chappy! The top ‘before’ photo shows the frown lines vertically at the eyebrow and the bottom ‘after’ photos show a complete resolution of these lines when attempting to frown. Anti-wrinkle treatments are a great way to prevent permanent signs of signs ageing. Most wrinkles when we are younger appear when we make facial expressions (dynamic wrinkles). With time, these can become static, I.e appear obvious even at rest. Here is a result on a young lovely lady who wanted to ensure she prevents her wrinkles appearing at rest. The top before pictures show forehead frowns and early ‘crows feet’ wrinkles appearing on facial expression. A refreshed, natural and subtle look can make the world of difference in self esteem and help with early signs of skin ageing. Here’s a Juverderm filler result for a lovely lady who wanted a natural ‘refreshed’ look. On the left ‘before’ photos you can see deepened nasolabial creases with extension below the corner of the mouth. The ‘after’ photos on the right show a flattening of these groves and a subtle yet noticeable result. With patient permission 😊 smile
