❤️For winter skin….
If like me your skin decides to go into hibernation mode over the cold months, gets dry, itchy, loses its suppleness and shine…this fantastic butter is the ultimate rescue remedy. Whilst most butters on the market consist of whipped shea and one or two other oils, this Organic Body butter is so deeply moisturised and nourishing (so much so I call it skin food) because of FOUR hard butters which all play their part in replenishing what skin loses while battling the elements. In Addition it has FOUR nourishing oils which will add suppleness, reach deep layers of your skin, add sheen and elasticity and make you feel warm and flexible ☺️ And let’s not forget the additional element of essential oils and their superb benefits not just for your skin but mind and overall wellbeing. Fell free to visit the Etsy shop (link in the Bio) for a full description of each ingredient and follow for more in depth chats about the benefits of each of these magical butters and oils. .

A sneak peak into the collection….
I have had a bit of a roadblock while formulating these. More than one roadblock actually…but the last one hit me hard and I was ready to give up. I will tell you all about it in the future once I stopped sulking, pulled it together and got this gorgeous collection out there! So thank you for your interest, support and gentle nudges to get it on the shelves! Lots of love to all my wonderful customers ❤️❤️

Plumping, cooling, refreshing…. .
This natural organic lip balm packs a refreshing punch of peppermint and a beautiful formulation of nourishing, hydrating, healing and protective properties of Jojoba, Calendula, Pomegranate, Grapeseed and Castor oils. I am still making these by hand, so they do come in small batches but I am so excited to make more if you guys love them. .
The cooling effect of peppermint essential oil works wonders on the lips and on the mind. While it tingles and plumps your lips, it has this wonderful awakening effect on the mind….

How efficient is your shop? Well I didn’t have an answer to that questions, although I suspected that dropping down to 18 views a day may be a bad sign….so I spent an entirety of today studying the statistical analysis that Etsy automatically performs for each seller. It was an incredibly useful tool to see how the public search for and arrive at my shop. It also provides you with stats on how each keywords that you product is tagged with performs in the search engines. That was eye opening… Firstly I realised that I wasn’t even using all the tags that were available to me and thus cutting my chances of being found in half. It was also interesting to put myself in the shoes of the customer and figure out what possible words and phrases are used most commonly that could eventually lead to my products. Etsy was super helpful there and allowed me to see which words and phrases were used the most. I have now packed my product listings with a well researched variety of keywords and phrases. I have also Used an opportunity to describe most of my pictures for Visually impaired costumers (which also positively contributed to your SEO). Upgraded and uploaded my product photos and videos and split my product variations up into separate products which apparently also benefits your listings. SO, I am not an expert yet, far from it. But I would love to see what effect this has on my searchability and subsequently the views and visits to my shop. Will work on conversion in stage 2 😊 thank you for reading this far and I hope that maybe it gave you some ideas on what to work on if you are like me, new to the world of SEO 😱

It’s HERE (well….almost!) I have promised the lip balm collection will be on the virtual shelves come October…but…between kids starting school, husband breaking bones (his own) and adjusting to being unemployed…I mean a new business owner 👀…things were progressing a little slower than I wanted them too. As you can see the formula took some work as well, between crumbling, separating and turning blue, it took a few late nights to perfect this recipe but I am so beyond pleased with it and every one of my dear friend guinea pigs has loved it also. The first one of the series to roll out next week is the peppermint scented lip balm with a cooling and plumping effect on your lips and everywhere you choose to use it, trust me we’ve tried it all (well almost all 🙄). I didn’t think peppermint will be the first one out but somehow it has won our hearts. The subtle smell and flavour of an AfterEight chocolate but entirely natural essential oil fragrance with all its amazing properties. More about it next week! So keep an eye out for the first batch next week 🤩
