March is endometriosis awareness month and here is the bit of my story.
I am an endo warrior and I am fighting now since years.
I finished my last treatment in December which was a course of Zoladex for 6months.
It was hard.
Artificial menopause and all the symptoms who goes with plus side effect of the medication itself. So I took HRT and it did helped.
I went through it, hoping that I will feel better after…
My consultant was very confident it will work…
Well it did but only for 2months…..

My monster is well awake and I don’t know his plan.
Picture of me was taken this morning.
I am not pregnant, I have an endo belly full of fire and stabbing.
Today was supposed to be an happy day!
I’m off work and on my way to Switzerland to spend some quality time with my nieces and their parents.
The truth is this morning I was in tears, in excruciating pain, close to cancel my flight.
Somehow I managed my way to Heathrow and I’m waiting my flight full of pain killers and with my best friend Miss Hotwater bottle!
Did I make the right decision by not cancelling ?
I have no idea. I don’t know how I will be the next few days… would I be able to take care of my nieces? Would I be able to enjoy simple things? I ll do my best but with my monster back, no plan is the plan…

Endo is a monster who spread in my case a bit everywhere, who make normal moments so difficult to live, who sometimes makes me regret I didn’t choose an office job to hide behind a screen because some days looking at my schedule is a nightmare. How on earth am I going to take care of all this clients? Or being able to do 2 massages in a row…
But you know what? I love my job and my clients are amazing. Most of them knows I’m ill and they are so supportive.
My family and friends too.
