The day my best friend got married!

Since we were seven, we’d talk about this magical day. What it would look like, what we would wear, who we would marry. We imagined every detail: our dresses, whether our hair would be up or down, and even the shade of lipstick we’d choose.

On 29th August 2025, I had the absolute pleasure of doing my best friend’s hair and makeup. After all those years of dreaming about it, the day finally arrived.

Louisa opted for a semi-matte base with a soft, wet-look glow on the cheekbones. Her complexion was contoured and structured perfectly to complement her sleek, pulled-back bun. For the eyes, she chose an all-matte smoky cat eye in grey and deep mauve tones, the perfect way to bring out the green in her hazel eyes. My beautiful bride Tash opted for a flawless semi-matte finish, complemented by peachy pops of colour that brought warmth and radiance to her look. To define her gorgeous blue eyes, I used a soft brown kohl liner and added corner lashes.
