“As transgender woman, I always wanted to work in a safe and accepting environment. In an environment, where I can be 100% myself without hiding who I am. In the hairdressing industry, we are always meeting new people every day and it can be challenging for people who have to deal with body dysphoria or any kind of insecurities. For me - hair has a hair different meaning. Growing my hair to that “comfortable” length was, and is, a big part of my male to female transition. This is why I understand how much hair can mean to a client, their confidence and identity and why I want to take the best care of their hair.

Being trans is beautiful and I’m so proud of myself. I endured a long and difficult journey. But now, it’s a different chapter of my life. I believe, that at the end of the day, we are all humans; we shouldn’t have to prove ourselves by our looks. Our beliefs, values, passion, interactions and how we learn and evolve in to kinder humans is what really counts. I stopped caring what other people think about me, just because I’m trans. I want to be seen as a person, who fought and went a long way to stand where I am standing now and for what I believe in.”
