This is a good read for anyone who has had fillers or wanting to get fillers always be aware of the risks involved although rare, I want you to fully understand how fillers work and what to look out for after an appointment with me or anyone you chose to get filler with, this should all be discussed before the treatment is carried out . I make sure I tell you all what to expect what to look out for and to always update me on any change you feel is not normal even if it’s a bruise I want to know about it.

Let’s talk Microneedling………..

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called collagen induction therapy.

In general, you can expect the results of microneedling treatments to last for about three to five months. The longevity of the results depends on two factors; how long new collagen lasts in your skin and the degree of your skin concerns.

As soon as the deepest layers of your skin are penetrated by the needles, “micro-wounds” are created. This triggers your body's wound healing processes to heal your micro wounds immediately. However, the most dramatic results will not be visible until four to six weeks after treatment.

Microneedling can cause bleeding so it may not be suitable for people with clotting or bleeding disorders, or who take medicine to thin their blood. You may want to avoid microneedling if you have conditions that affect your skin, such as eczema or diabetes, or if you have a weakened immune system.

If you are looking for a way to improve the overall look and texture of your skin, microneedling is absolutely an option you should consider. It is not a painful treatment or one that is going to take a long time. And, the benefits are pretty amazing!
