What does your business card look like ? This stamp was made back when we were making our products from Camden market upper floor in a tiny room previously used for the cleaning products. It would get so hot I there I had to fix reflective foil sheets to the window to avoid being cooked alive.

If your following read/the/label, I haven't posted for a while, that's for a good reason, I've been working on something new, for you! Something I always wanted to do but never had the time... Workshops! ๐งผ
Today I share my skill set with anyone willing to learn the very useful skill of soap making, and, for the zero wasters, crafters and curious part time skin care remedy formulators I have recorded a bunch of how too's 1 hour videos for everything I make at the lab.
These videos should make it possible to make your own skin care remedies and soaps at home, but you can always call, email or text me if you get stuck. Calls are charged at ยฃ8 per minute ๐.
So for now, I am here at this great location to offer workshops in soap making and skincare and to test the syllabus and summon my inner teacher.
Wish me luck

I'm curious! Will locally grown winter green produce enough methyl salicilate to use on the skin for aches and pains. ? I need a few ml and the still is 30litres. It would certainly distill enough but does European wintergreen yield much oil?
Answers please ๐ from any gardeners, herbalists or scientists.

Try this alternative dog shampoo!
You need
1. 10g neem soap
2. Ph strips
3. Water preferably filtered
4. Sea salt
Grate approx 10 g of soap into 300 ml hot water and top up with 700ml cold water.
Add 1/teaspoon sea salt to the mixture until the ph of the liquid becomes approx 6.5.
Use as normal.
This shampoo is very mild and suitable for frequent usage. The only downside maybe the nutty aroma that not everyone likes. However the neem shampoo is really useful to defend against many skin irritants and pesky critters during the summer.
Please note, this is my opinion and experience with neem soap for a medium sized dog. Before you try it on your k9 buddy I suggest you use this as a starting point in your research for a safer, non toxic, non chemical shampoo that is easy to make and use.
