According to a new report, biohacking, plant milking, and Femtech will be the future of the beauty industry.
Sleep quality as an extension of wellness is also set to rise in interest, with people engaging in ‘sleep tourism’, and spas and hotels offering sleep retreats to help clients to achieve a good rest.
The connection between sleep and health has long been known, but advances in sleep tracking technology and ongoing research are prompting consumers to prioritise sleep as a foundation for overall well-being.

There is new legislation that is set to transform the aesthetics industry.
Since a recent amendment to the Health and Care Act 2022, the secretary of state for health and social care now has the power to bring in a licensing scheme for non-surgical cosmetic procedures in England.
The outcome? We have to get ready for a new traffic light system. Under the scheme, all cosmetic procedures will be categorised by their risk: red, amber, or green.
These changes not only work to safeguard patients but also enhance the reputation of responsible brands.

Great skin doesn’t just happen because of one topical skin cream or one session of micro-needling. Instead, it requires a full 360 approach, including skincare, treatments, diet, hydration, supplements, and lifestyle.
For example, did you know having an unhealthy gut can cause all sorts of skin conditions, from acne and inflammation to rosacea and eczema?
Taking care of ‘good’ gut bacteria with prebiotics and probiotics will make a big difference, as well as maintaining a healthy diet.

Have you heard about the recent changes in retinol regulation set by the EU?
As of November 1st 2025, concentrations of retinol in face products will be reduced to 0.3% and body products to 0.05%.
This change aims to minimise potential side effects and overexposure to vitamin A.
Brands will need to reformulate their products, which could lead to increased prices but also spur innovation in safer alternatives like bakuchiol and Lanablue.

Did you know that bunny lines — those cute yet sometimes bothersome wrinkles at the top of your nose — can be effectively treated with Botox?
In fact, Botox treatment reduces the appearance of any other lines and fine wrinkles you may have, including forehead wrinkles, frown lines and crow's feet (the expression lines around your eyes caused by repeated facial movement).
Botox works by temporarily paralysing the nasalis muscle, smoothing out these lines. The procedure is quick and relatively painless, offering noticeable results for a few months.

Have you heard of polynucleotides (PNs)?
They’re emerging as a groundbreaking treatment in the realm of aesthetic medicine. Unlike traditional rejuvenating treatments that primarily focus on the surface appearance of the skin, PNs delve into the cellular level, promoting the regeneration of skin cells, enhancing collagen and elastin production, and improving skin hydration.
PN treatments stand out as they don't just mask ageing signs but improve skin health and vitality from within. They stimulate the skin's natural repair processes, offering lasting and natural-looking results.
