I'm currently teaching Spanish, and one of my students is a Dermatologist. She decided to learn Spanish so she can better communicate with her patients who don’t speak fluent English — such a thoughtful and compassionate reason to learn a new language!

To support her goals, I’ve been tailoring each lesson to her field. Our next class will focus on vocabulary and communication around skin cancer awareness.

While preparing for it, I realized how important it is to check your skin regularly. Early detection can save lives — please take a moment to examine your skin and encourage others to do the same.
