The stress -- pain -- stress cycle

The Walthamstow Adult Neurodivergent Group and LSM Clinic are hosting a free workshop to help you with your muscle care around neck & shoulder pain.
In the workshop, you’ll learn how to create a self-care plan that takes only 5-10 minutes per day spread throughout the day. We’ll be using neck and shoulder pain as an example, but the formula can be used for self-care for any part of your body.
You don’t need a lot of time to take care of yourself if you focus on the right things, and this workshop will explain what the right things are, including a chance to practice the stretches and exercises for yourself.
If you’re worried about forgetting your self-care, we’ll also be covering ways to set it up to increase the chances that you’ll remember it.
When: 17 May 2026, 15:00-16:30
Where: Walthamstow Stadium Community Hub, 63 Parade Gardens, London E4 8DF (next to Hugs & Mugs shop)
How to register: Email walthamstowadultsndgroup[at]gmail.com to confirm your attendance

LSM Clinic is looking to expand our team. We currently have clinics in Leyton, and Walthamstow, and looking for someone to join our Leyton location a couple days a week.
We’re a team of people who want to make the world a better place by easing pain, making sure our clients feel safe and comfortable. We centre client education so they are armed with the tools they need, long after our support is finished.
The clinic offers enhanced training, support and lots of education in anatomy and biomechanics.
We welcome people from diverse backgrounds and with diverse experience. As a clinic we are LGBTQ+ & neurodivergent-friendly. We look for therapists who align with our values, as we believe everyone deserves to feel welcome and safe when receiving body care treatment.
For more details and qualification requirements check out our 'work with us' page on our website (here's the link: https://lsmclinic.co.uk/work-with-us/), or you can email me at [email protected] and we'll send you details.
If you know anyone who might be interested in joining the team, please do share this with them or tag them, thank you!
