🪬A practice i love to do is combine deeply precious oils like Holy Wood (Palo Santo) with simple acupressure massage

🪬What is known as the Lao Gong point is located in a shallow cavity at the centre of the palm

🪬Close your eyes and rub the palms of your hand together, until you feel warmth

🪬Roll on a little pure plant essence, sacred scents oil

🪬Gently circular massage this tender point with your thumb a few times, on each hand - press as hard or soft as feels good

🪬When done, lift palms to your face washing the eyes clear with this warm energy. Inhaling deeply this profound, medicinal scent

🪬Energising the Lao Gong with scent like this can help alluviate tensions in the head, the heart. Lift the spirit if it has dulled somewhat. It also invigorated the energy channel from the heart, which runs down into your hands

🪬Turning on this energy, which then radiates healing energy, or Chi, from the heart to the palms and out

Something so soothing about this image. The peaceful feeling I get in my body when I see a meditation space ... and people meditating

As a meditator it does not often feel peaceful inside however, more like a writhing dragon trapped inside, trying to escape and cause havoc ... or like my veins have been injected by butane or caffeinated thoughts

Still, detaching from this mind that cycles through millions of thoughts a day - From the banal to the profound, is a beneficial practice in order to hear my own voice

Give yourself the space to do this every day. Just to allow your body to rest from the grip and addiction of the mind ... or the programming coming from other peoples minds

So much is online right now, I feel myself running to keep up. Or pondering too long on details and nuances. Time ticks on and what used to feel like minutes, now hours or days have passed. I can’t keep up with this acceleration, so I just do what I can. Steadily. Embodied. Breathing deeply in .... and fully out ... focusing on what is important to me ... and leaving the rest
