A study in 90s opulence: Valentino Garavani’s London home, as seen in 1992. Designed by the legendary Roger Banks-Pye, the residence was a masterclass in layering, from the Chinese porcelain in the conservatory to the green gingham of the library.

That philosophy is evident in the bathroom, where our R4300-18 in Polished Gold sits alongside gilded wall paneling and decorative red trim. Looking back at these archives three decades later, the space feels remarkably intact - a testament to choosing pieces with character.

A symphony of texture by . In this monochromatic space tactility takes focus - the grain of the oak, the pits of the Travertine, and the soft pull of the Limewash.

Centred as a dark anchor is our Regent 1010 kitchen mixer. Finished in Weathered Bronze, the metal has a deep, chocolate warmth that provides a grounding weight to the room. As a living finish, the bronze will continue to evolve and patina with use.

Bravo to for creating a kitchen that feels so at home within the fabric of the building. There is a beautiful, hardworking symmetry to this setup, the full width plate rack, the drawers either side of the sink, and the open utility underneath. Centred in the workstation is our wall mounted Regent 2020 in polished brass. Hand turned in our London factory, it possesses a solid, mechanical honesty, ready to be used day in and day out. The result is a space that feels as though it has always been here, and will remain so for centuries to come.

We’re eagerly awaiting our copy of Patrick’s new book, The House Rules, which is out this March and sure to find a permanent spot on our shelves.

A quiet moment from the master bathroom at the Cotswolds Barn project by . Our wall-mounted basin tap sits against veined marble, paired with a simple linen skirt that softens the stone above.

Beyond the basin and arched tadelakt shower, the scheme opens into a generous room where a restored antique bath takes its place at the centre. Though divided across two rooms, the suite feels effortlessly connected, grounded by reclaimed oak flooring and a shared sense of softness.

A cosy, character-filled corner of a country kitchen by . Our wall-mounted bib taps sit above a traditional Welsh dresser inspired unit, where the wooden plate beneath the taps echoes its decorative details. The wall-mounted design allows for the large white inset sink, while the exposed pipework complements the room’s rustic charm.
