One of the most common hair care habits/mistakes that happens quite a bit; is customers using the wrong products.

My client thought that her raw hair bundles was at the end of it's life and was about to bin them. I asked a few questions about what products she was using for washing and styling, quickly learnt that she used her afro hair products and shampoo on her bundles as like her natural hair.

I explained to her why that was a bad idea based on the ingredients that stripes the hair of all its moisture, plus she doesn't use any a heat protection when heat styling. Which also causes the hair to dry out further.

To restore the hair I used some tresemme moisture rich shampoo and conditioner with a paddle brush to quickly detangle. I towel dried and applied some oil to the ends as these are the oldest part of the hair and needs a little extra love. Then left the hair to air dry, overnight and voila!

The hair bounced right back to its healthy natural curl pattern and softness returned. I didn't experience any excess shedding or tangling/matting.
