January and February wrap-up:
It’s been a wild ride 🤣❤️🌟.
Capricorn vibes all around!
Juggling priorities, staying productive, and working with incredible people has been a highlight.
Being transparent, from a personal standpoint , it's been a struggle– facing the fact that life truly is short, and people can leave or change in ways you can't control.

Today our little boy won “The Super Human Award” at school.
It could not have come on a more poignant week.
Let me explain…
Our little boy caught Chickenpox on his 2nd birthday.
It appeared to be a pretty mild case at first.
I was frazzled at 38 weeks pregnant, trying to tie things up before going on maternity leave.
Within a few days he seemed to get noticeably worse.
Something wasn’t right.
Cut a long story short, after being told that this was normal and to up the dose of calpol…
I listened to my mother’s instinct.
By the time we took him to A&E, his infection markers were over 300.
He was showing signs of being photophobic.
Within 1 day he was diagnosed with meningitis, after a spinal tap.
He recovered after the incredible care we received in Barnet Hospital and was only discharged from audiology end of last year.
However my point is:
This was a complication of chickenpox.
Fast forward 3 years and I took his little sister for her Pre-School booster on Tuesday Morning this week.
When the lovely nurse informed me that chickenpox had now been added into the vaccination offerings as “there were some poignant cases that deemed it necessary to offer this protection”…
I started crying my eyes out.
I told CJ in bed that night that he was a real life super hero.
And today, by utter coincidence, he won this award.
Forever proud of this boy.
