Why Tattoo and Permanent Makeup Removal is Important in the Tattoo and Permanent Makeup Industry 19% of the population that have a tattoo regret them. Of those that do have tattoos 78% percent have more than one tattoo. 42% of young adults between the age of 18-30 have at least one tattoo. Woman regret tattoos more than men and in the Permanent Makeup Industry the number of unskilled artists / technician’s producing disastrous cosmetic tattoos on the face and body is climbing in the thousands daily.
🔴The increasing demand for the procedure called Microblading has produced 1-3 day classes to certify the technicians, who then makes themselves instructors and all are set free to cosmetically tattoo faces due to lack of regulations.

🔵The growth experienced is a direct result of its professional and legal structure. Members are represented by a Board of Directors comprised of a diverse group of members, elected by members, and serve limited terms. A Code of Ethics that all members must abide by and which sets industry standards governs the ESP. Permanent cosmetics are mainstream beauty services; therefore the public looks to the ESP as the voice of the permanent cosmetics industry.

Everyday we see more and more clients needing their permanent makeup to be corrected.
▶️Unproper shapes can happen when a technician is poorly trained, lack of artistic ability or without enough experience in pmu. Shape corrections can range. Sometimes the shape is not “terrible” but would look much better with a few changes.
▶️Correcting permanent makeup is like solving a complicated puzzle with many pieces requiring a unique solution for every individual client.

🤌🏻🤌🏼🤌🏽🤌🏾Skin types according to the FITZPATRICK scale

The skin phototypes described by Fitzpatrick and his collaborators in 1988, try to classify the population according to the individual response to light. They are based on the person's reaction after a first exposure of about 30 minutes to sunlight in the middle of the day. There are six skin phototypes classified according to the reaction to ultraviolet light, the skin's tendency to tan or, on the contrary, to suffer sunburn.

🤌🏻PHOTOTYPE I - The skin is very sensitive to the sun. It always burns and does not tan. For example, the skin of phototype I can be visually identified by light shades, reddish / light blond hair and freckles / reddish spots. Its tone is very cold, and the undertones extremely cold.

🤌🏼PHOTOTYPE II - The skin is quite sensitive to the sun. It burns easily and rarely tans. Phototype II skin types can be both light (Caucasian with light hair) and dark in color. Although it is possible for a client to have a peach (so warm) skin tone, 99.99% of Fitzpatrick II skin clients have cold skin.

🤌🏽PHOTOTYPE III - The skin is sensitive to the sun. It may burn in the sun, but then it will get a golden tan. Although most Fitzpatrick III skin types are usually neutral (skin of Asians of distant Eastern descent) to cold, there are also warm undertones. It is possible that a client has either a more neutral shade (Asian skin) or a cold color.

🤌🏾PHOTOTYPE IV - The skin has a low sensitivity to the sun. It may burn, but then it will turn a dark bronze. Fitzpatrick IV skin types are considered to be cold, but there is for example Mediterranean skin, with olive tones or some types of Asian skin with yellow-green undertones.

🤌🏿PHOTOTYPE V - The sensitivity of the skin to the sun is low to zero. It burns very rarely and tans in a dark shade very quickly. The skin of phototype V, characterized by a dark shade, is often found in South Americans, Arabs and those of African descent.

🤌🏿PHOTOTYPE VI - The skin is not sensitive to the sun and is very strongly pigmented. Fitzpatrick VI is considered to be a very dark undertone, and the skin is dark to black.

Cosmetic tattoos called permanent makeups are growing more and more popular.
🔹The permanent coloration of the eyebrows, eyelids and lip outline has been performed with increasing frequency in recent years.
🔹In contrast to other tattoos, permanent makeup is not meant to stay for a lifetime but it will vanish after three to five years. To achieve this effect, the color is not inserted as deep as it is in the case of a conventional tattoo.

▶️Aside from aesthetic reasons, permanent makeup removal – eyebrow laser tattoo removal might be used together with reconstructive surgery, for example after a mammilla reconstruction or due to medical issues like alopecia areata totalis.
