When booking in your holiday nails, try if possible to do it prior to packing.

If you have ‘help’ at home, make sure the one who hasn’t spent a fortune on their manicure, gets the cases out of the loft and lugs them around - there’s nothing worse then chipping or breaking a nail before your holidays begun.

So you’ve successfully boarded the plane, touched down without any damage to your nails (yay) and can’t wait to get into that pool! Hold tight, know that your nails are porous 🧽 despite having nail coatings on they soak everything up like a sponge (cue nail oil 😉) so lazing around IN the pool all day with your hands constantly in the water will inevitably damage your manicure. Hold a cocktail 🍹in each hand as this will definitely solve the problem 🤣 and then some!

This is me 🙋🏽‍♀️ with winged eyeliner, although I think I’m getting better… but god knows I don’t have time in the morning to perfect them and I know a lot of you are like this with brows!

Number 1 - Consistency is key! Book your appointments in advance, plan around events, important dates etc, make sure your appointments are no sooner than 4 weeks if you’re having dye or henna and if you like to leave it a little longer than that for the colour, come in for a maintenance wax in between so that you don’t feel the need to get tweezer happy and give yourself 90’s arched eyebrows again!

Number 2 - Eyebrows are meant to be sisters not twins 👯‍♀️! Nobody’s face is exactly the same one side to the other, which is why mapping is key 🔑! I map your eyebrows at every brow service. Ensuring that the bulb (start) arch & tail of the brows are exactly where they should be based on the shape of your face. The measurements of your face tells me how your brows should look. This is why everyone’s brows can differ.

Number 3 - Seeing the same technician will also help. At my consultations, time is spent to understand your expectations, your look and your routine. Understanding these aspects of your brow life will not only help me advise on the most suitable service for you but also help me give you the best results possible. Seeing the same technician also ensures the same mapping technique is being used giving you consistent results.

All of the above aids your brow journey, it may take a couple of appointments to get there, I’m not a magician and can’t give you hair you don’t have to fill in gaps or change your shape completely but by being consistent with your appointments allows me to take care of numbers 2 & 3.

So all you need to do is stick to Number One 💁🏽‍♀️ (see what I did there 😂🫣)

Face feels good when you’re brows are done! Beautifully framed eyes and a natural colour to match. All good for another 4-6 weeks! 👌

T I P :

1 - keep them dry, dab if wet don’t rub & avoid touching them with any products.

2 - when you notice the skin grab (stain) fading, start oiling the hairs nightly so they’re replenished with nutrients and ready for the next appointment. Don’t use oil before the henna disappears from the skin.

Yes - this treatment can be natural and used for a subtle change.

Maintenance and styling is key, make sure they’re oiled EVERY night before bed and wet and brush in the mornings to style to your preference. 👌
