Two intensive days of advanced biomechanics workshop training - a reminder that effective therapeutic work always begins with understanding movement❗️

🔀A Rubik’s Cube is one of the best ways I explain the body and biomechanics.
If you twist the bottom part of the cube, every block above it changes position too. The body works the same way - when one area is not moving properly, other parts start compensating and adapting around it.
💪🏻My work is about helping the body “untwist” itself. I want the body to move more naturally and efficiently, without unnecessary tension, stiffness, or compensation patterns.
🥅The goal is simple: restore balanced movement so each part of the body can do its job without overloading the rest of the system.
Pronated Feet - The "Poor Victim" Principle
Pronated Feet - The Yielding & Absorbing Foot
Swimmers’ Feet - The "Ungrounded" Swayback Athlete
High-level athletes, like football players, constantly need to generate powerful forward movement. Because of this, the body adapts into what is known as an Anterior Orientation - a posture and movement pattern where the pelvis and lumbar spine shift forward together as one rigid unit. This helps move the body’s center of gravity toward the forefoot, allowing the athlete to accelerate faster, sprint more efficiently, and produce greater force.
Over years of training and repeated exposure to this pattern, the pelvis gradually gets pushed further forward in space. To prevent the body from collapsing forward and to maintain stability, the nervous system develops a compensatory braking strategy: it increases tension and activation in the lower posterior pelvis - particularly the glutes and deep hip external rotators.
Initially, this strategy improves stability and athletic performance. However, over time it can contribute to excessive muscular tension, restricted movement, increased stress on the lumbar spine, and altered posture mechanics.
