it will always be aplied either a spatula and removed by applying a paper strip on top!!

What a great evening!!

This evening I’ve attend annual Awards Ceremony organized by BABTAC & Cibtac as a finalist for Waxing Therapist of the Year 2023.

I can’t believe that I won this award this award, still trying to process this!
This will be my 2nd year in a row winning this award and my 7th award won in the past 2 years!!

Is getting wax sanitary?

👉The answer is Yes!!!
However you must pay attention to the salon you choose.

🔥Make sure that the salon is clean and hygienic, you therapist always wear gloves and most importantly DON'T DOUBLE DIP!!

🔥To summarise this in few sentences: everything what is used on you is single use!!

⚠️Wax used in the hair removal procedure becomes contaminated the moment that touches your body, same thing with spatulas and if the wax is reused, cross contamination occurs, it can lead to bacterial infections such as staphylococcal, streptococcal and folliculitis and list goes on!

💕My advice is to do your research properly before you book you waxing appointment and make sure you choose a salon that has high hygiene standards.

How many days before the beach should I wax?

This would really depend if you are a regular waxer or seasonal waxing. ⏰️

If you are a regular client at list 24h before you flight .

If you are a seasonal client at list 2-3 days before your flight.
You want to give yourself at least a couple days: You need some time before you're sitting on the beach or in the water for your skin to heal.
❌️Getting waxed at your hotel's spa isn't the best idea because that skin will be might sensitive and you don't want to skip activities or cause yourself avoidable discomfort.

🔥Aditional to this depends where you are traveling but just as a general rule to remember ' salty water and freshly waxed skin" don't get along... is a big NO.

✅️If you want to be hair free for longer ideally would be to wax at list 2/3 times prior your holiday.

This way you can enjoy the results for longer without getting worried that the hair will start growing.

👉Due to increase intake of Vitamin D during the summer ,you might see that the hair tends to grow faster.

💕This is another reson why you should start preparing for your holiday in advance.

I love making people comftable and gain their trust while I am offering them a beauty treatments that is not necessarily known as being the most ' pain free' ☺️

When you have your first waxing session thoigj your head might go 100 things. 🔥

Let's be honest, except the fact waxing come with some discomfort from the pain, you are also asked by a stranger to take your clothes off.👇

But when you do something that you love , you go above and beyond your limits to make your customers feel comfortable and return.

For some customers, waxing first time but be quite scary, thinking might the worst experience of their life due to the pain associated with the pain, when in really is just a slight discomfort that last only couple of seconds .

As a experience waxing expert, I would say that choosing your salon with a huge care plays a important role in your experience
... and here are few questions I would ask:

-is your therapist qualified
-is she/he wearing gloves
-do they have No double dipping policy
-what about quality of the products
-is there any consultation performed before the treatment starts?

Those are only few questions that should help you take the right decision when looking for a new waxing salon.
