The Benefits and Effects of Baduanjin.
When the meridians are obstructed, a multitude of ailments arise. How can one unblock the meridians and ensure abundant Qi and blood? Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) centers on Qi and blood—regarding Qi as the fundamental element—and Baduanjin emerged in response to this philosophy.
This form of exercise, designed to regulate the Qi and blood of the internal organs, restore metabolic function, and strengthen the body, has long been popular. It is likened to a piece of exquisite brocade and consists of eight distinct movements, hence the name “Baduanjin” (Eight-Section Brocade). Relieving Fatigue
I The first movement of Baduanjin, “Two Hands Hold Up the Heavens to Regulate the Triple Burner” (San Jiao), involves stretching the limbs and torso—much like a natural stretch upon waking. It enhances stretching activity, redistributes blood flow within the thoracic and abdominal cavities, promotes lung expansion, deepens breathing, and increases oxygen intake, all of which help alleviate fatigue.
II. Correcting Shoulder and Back Posture
The “Two Hands Hold Up the Heavens” movement is a full-body stretch accompanied by deep breathing. It regulates the internal organs and benefits the musculoskeletal system of the lower back and spine, helping to correct poor posture such as inward-turning shoulders and a rounded back. Consequently, young people who frequently study or work at desks can also benefit from practicing Baduanjin.

The art of Acupressure points Live training in Qatar 🇶🇦
Facial acupoint massage based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles involves using fingers or specific tools to apply rhythmic pressure, kneading, or point-pressing to specific facial acupoints. This practice aims to stimulate the flow of Qi and blood within the meridians and enhance facial microcirculation for both health maintenance and therapeutic purposes.
Core Principles: Unblocking Meridian Qi and Blood—The face is a convergence point for six Yang meridians, including the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian and the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian. Massaging these key points helps unblock the flow of Qi and blood. Improving Facial Circulation—It accelerates local blood and lymphatic circulation, thereby offering benefits such as beautifying the complexion, soothing muscles, and supporting overall bodily balance.
Common Facial Acupoints and Their Benefits: Yingxiang (on both sides of the nostrils)—Used to improve nasolabial folds, lift the ”apple zone“ (cheekbones), and relieve nasal congestion. Quanliao (directly below the outer corner of the eye, at the lower edge of the cheekbone)—Helps tighten cheeks, diminish fine lines, and address facial sagging. Yangbai (centered above the eyebrows)—Promotes Qi and blood circulation around the eyes, helping to brighten the complexion and reduce forehead lines. Dicang (beside the corners of the mouth)—Relaxes facial muscles and alleviates fine lines and tension around the mouth.
Common Massage Techniques: Pressing (An)—Using fingers or the palm to apply rhythmic, vertical pressure to an acupoint. Kneading (Rou)—Placing the finger pad on an acupoint and performing gentle, slow, circular motions. Point-pressing (Dian)—Using a single finger to press firmly on an acupoint to deliver strong stimulation.

Chinese face bone sculpting Paris 2026
True beauty lies in the bone structure, not just the skin! Here are three differences between “bone-structure beauty” and “skin-deep beauty”—distinctions many people overlook. What exactly does the saying “beauty lies in the bone, not the skin” mean? What defines beauty based on bone structure versus beauty based on skin? Does this mean only women with beautiful bone structures are truly attractive, while those with beautiful skin are not? In reality, there are distinct differences between the two, and since many people may be unclear about them, let’s explore the distinctions today. First, it relates to aging: women with beautiful bone structures tend not to show their age, whereas those with beautiful skin appear to age more visibly. Women with beautiful bone structures remain lovely throughout their lives, whereas those with beautiful skin are often stunning only in their youth, appearing to lose their luster as they get older. When young, women possess abundant collagen and look attractive regardless; at this stage, both types of women appear beautiful. However, the difference becomes apparent by the time they reach their forties or fifties: women with beautiful bone structures continue to look youthful and lovely, while those with beautiful skin tend to show their age much more noticeably.
