Dreaming of being back in Brazil VS reality 🏝☃️
I’m sure I’m not the only one being curled up on the sofa, hiding away from the cold (snowy) weather.. I’m dreaming of warmer days and tropical escape, while I’m listening to bossa nova and enjoying an açai bowl to boost my memories of Brazil. I’m using my senses to drift away into my dream-tropical-world, it’s pretty awesome... 💭🌴🐠🏖🥥

To make a classic açai bowl you only need 3 ingredients: açai, banana and a splash of water (or apple juice). Blend the ingredients in a blender and serve in a bowl topped fresh fruits, granola, and coconut shreds 💜

🤍 Reduce toxins in your home (cleaning detergents, beauty products, perfumes etc)

There’s power in reflection✨
Looking into your past for what worked, didn’t work, lessons learned, and what you accomplished and learned is a powerful exercise. A simple reflection can help you create your life more strategically. This year has been very different and challenged all of us in many ways.
Grab a notebook, a pen, some chocolate, and turn on some music if you’d like! It’s time to reflect on these questions like your future depends on it…because it does!
Here are 6 simple questions to help you reflect on this past year to create your best year yet:
1. If you had to describe your past year in 3 words, what would it be?
2. When did you feel inspired, alive, or excited this year, and why?
3. When did you feel at your lowest this year and why?
4. What lessons have you learned?
5. What are your biggest accomplishments?
6. What have the pandemic thought you? What changes have you made? What did you take for granted before the pandemic? What will you be doing differently after the pandemic?
I answer the first five questions at the end of every year to quickly reflect and it has made all the difference in starting my year off right. Due to this year being a very different due to the pandemic, it’s important to add some reflections around that too.
Once you’ve answered these questions, you’re ready to start dreaming, visualizing, goal-setting, and mapping out your action plan to make it all happen.
