Macmillan - The Beauty of Support. An inspiring day of knowledge sharing. Joined by dedicated hairdressers and healthcare professionals, today The Cancer Hair Care Afro Hair Specialist Team provided education at Macmillan’s Head Office in London.

Cancer Hair Care are delighted to be the official hair loss & hair care partner to Macmillan -.The Beauty Of Support The project was developed by Macmillan using insights from focus groups with women from African and Caribbean backgrounds and Black hairdressers.

Together, via hairdressers we want to encourage the black community to talk about cancer and ask for the free resources available from Macmillan, Cancer Hair Care and the cancer community such as the South East London Breast Screening Programme, King College Hospital.

We heard from The Beauty Of Support Macmillan Englament Lead - Southeast London - Janet Clark , who shared the huge range of cancer support available. Francesca Fiennes, Health Promotion Specialist, South East London Breast Screening Programme, King College Hospital shared her knowledge of public Health Care Information around breast screening programs. Our charity Founder and the UK’s leading Afro Hair Cancer Specialist, Jasmin Julia Gupta completed an 8 module education program to educate, inform, inspire and bust myths around afro hair and cancer treatment.
