I loved creating this gorgeous classic timeless bridal inspired glam on the beautiful which was inspired by one of my brides this wedding season who requested a matte eye look. I feel like this look is so clean and soft and we paired it with the most beautiful complexion…we kept the base airbrushed but still glowy and fresh in all the right places 🫧

Considering wearing a red lip for your big day? This ones for you ❤️

1. A red lip requires a liiittle bit of maintenance. With a lip colour that isn’t bold, you can get away with a bit of lip biting, eating etc throughout the day, but when you have a bold lip like a red, it needs to stay that bold colour throughout. Most of the time this can be achieved with a liquid lip, however its always worth discussing this when you have your trial with your MUA. I supply my brides with a small lip top up should they need it.

2. Think about how your bold lip is going to look paired with the rest of your makeup. You want to make sure the rest of your makeup isn’t *too* bold. I’d suggest going for slightly softer eyes, if you’re going to go for a bold lip.

3. A red lip is a timeless and classic look for Asian brides so if that’s what your heart is telling you to go for then go for it! Work with your MUA, have a trial (so important), see how you feel and have fun with it!

To red lip or to not red lip? A trend I’ve seen lately is Asian brides wearing red or darker coloured clothes but opting for a softer alternative to a red lip, with a n**e or glossy lip.
