CUSTOMER UPDATE ON COVID-19 - A MESSAGE FROM BARKERS MANAGING DIRECTOR:

To all our loyal customers,

Who would have thought this Coronavirus would bring our country to its knees, and who would have thought that people are going without having their hair and nails done!

It does remain however that all businesses are having to cut their cloths too and unfortunately if we do not have customers, we too must adjust the way we work.

We must take this disease seriously; we must stay safe. I guess we will only know how this really feels if we are unlucky enough to lose someone we love.

We will be keeping our stores open until we are told not to, except for Colchester which have closed their doors. The remaining stores will be operating on skeleton staff, so that they can keep safe by distancing themselves from each other, which means we will operate a call and collect service. If you are unable to get to your branch, we will still be able to send you products in the post if you order on- line. www.barkershairdressing.com

Tomorrow’s Deliveries will still go ahead for those that have a delivery due.

If we are made to go on to a complete lockdown we will continue to be operating online, even if that means the Barker family lock down in branch.

Let’s support one another, we understand that salons are closing and although it saddens us, lets stay positive and look forward to the day when we can open our doors again and trade without fear. I bet we will all appreciate the good times much more.

As a 'people-first' company the safety & well-being of everyone is at the forefront of how we operate.

As it currently stands, Matrix Education events are postponed until further notice, however all other training events at Barkers Hair & Beauty branches are going ahead as planned.
