π we females have always known that chocolate makes us happier...but now nutrition science has also shown it can make us healthier on both a physical and psychological level... Dark and raw chocolate is packed with beneficial minerals and antioxidants, and has been found to have many benefits, such as improving brain function and protect against sun damage πΈ so I popped in here on brick lane for a little pick me up before studying and yoga-ing π They have almost every chocolate imaginable - from dark vegan options to matcha pearls and chilli hot chocolates to die for... Welcome to chocolate heaven!!

πΈ Sports Yoga graduates 2017 πΈ had the best year with this lot!! Thank you each and every one of you for making it the loveliest experience, and thank you Sarah Ramsden for sharing such fabulous wisdom and insights π after 15 years of working in premiership football, she certainly has a few pearls of wisdom... She'll be running a workshop later this year, which I would highly recommend for anyone interested in working with athletes at any level... Congratulations .movement .yoga.glasgow .bc and everyone else of course!!

**NOT A FANCY YOGA POSE**
πΈ but I find staying in the process is where the MAGIC happens. Moving through my practice with a sense of calm, ease and curiosity has elevated my yoga beyond what I imagined possible...without the struggle! It's the moments in between the stuff that I most enjoy. Moments like this. Checking in and being curious...and before I know it, I'm floating with lightness, enjoying the experience without the need to push or achieve, just to be. Pure joy πΈ

πΈ "Yoga is the cessation of the movements of the mind"~ Patanjali πΈ we've had a couple of stunning weekends in London. I found these beauties in London Fields. Whenever the sun comes out, Londoners seems to finally take a deep breath and stop to lay in the sunshine. It seems to be the only time we find a bit of peace and calm in the rush of it all. We allow our minds to still and just be, without trying to achieve, just to enjoy. It's wonderful to see the weight lift from so many shoulders... Maybe it's something we could do a little more of... Meditating in nature, at home, or wherever we are... πΈ

π this book is exceptional and, in my opinion, every woman should read it π it touches on not just sport, but every challenge modern women face in today's society...i even cried a few times as Anna so eloquently described issues we see every day...highly recommended read! π and all those post-it's proves my point! I normally have 5 or 6 in a book...but I must have highlighted something on every single page!! π so grateful for such a brilliant read π
