Beauty catches the eye but a beautiful soul catches the heart ❣
Good morning everyone!!!
Hope you are feeling well 🙏🏼
Sunny and warm day in London 😀
Back to tell you about my water fasting experience.
I was able to fast only 48hours 😅 it’s quiet good, but really wanted to take it to 72 hours!
It’s alright, step by step. It’s better to go gradually, so next time 60 hours 💪🏽
I’m gonna try to keep it as a habit and try to fast every week or every other week( depending on my schedule).
Let me tell you about how I felt during the fast.
Amazing!!! Honestly, I felt energise, awake, clear mind and light 😌
I drunk average 3,5 liter a day.
I also had my period on the first day, so by the second day of fast was also my second day of period, and was quiet busy working (I’m a massage therapist)
So I did struggle a bit by the end of the day, this is why I decide to stop the fast at 48 hours.
I had a miso soup to break my fast. My next meal was a celery juice.
It’s important to reintroduce food gradually. Better to start with something liquid food (soup, juice....)
The rule is to eat liquid half time that you fasted.
I’ll definitely do it again and more often.
Please share your experience in comment.
If any question, don’t hesitate.
Have a lovely day
Namaste 🙏🏼
HI guys,
It been a long time that I haven't post in this page.
A lot of change, positive but challenging 💪 !!!
I'm writing today to share with you my experience doing WATER FASTING.
I'm familiar with fasting because I use to fast ramadan since ever lol not really since ever, but I started very early, I think I was 9 years old when I did the full month of Ramadan for the first time.
For people who are not familiar with Ramadan, it's a holy month for muslim people where we must fast from sunrise to sunset, no food no drinks, but it's actually much more spiritual but.. I'm not going to deepen this subject, so long story short, no food no drinks til sunset.
Then we break our fast by a nice meal sometimes 2 or more.... 😅
I usually eat only 1 meal, so I fast roughtly for 24H.
Easy peasy 😜
I never did more than 24h without food, it will be challenging!!!
This time I have decided to fast for at least 48h and if I feel to do more I'll go up to 60h and 72h.
My periods start today, fasting is suppose to ease the pain, because the body will be resting from processing food, so more focus on healing.
Water Fasting is actually no solid food, none!!!
The goal is to give the digestive system a rest and let the organs rejuvenate and regulate naturally.
Only water, plain water no lemon juice (activate the digestion) room temperature is recommended and for the caffeine addict tea or coffee is authorised, no sugar (detox) or milk(activate the digestion) of course.
I have challenged my brother Ramzi to try it with me even if we are far from each other.
Support is very important in any challenge!
So let’s start !!!!
Quote of the day:
Every day we get to make a choice whether we are creating a reality filled with stress, worry, and anxiety or whether we are creating a reality filled with hope, possibilities, and acceptance.
