Loved trying something different with this Bride to Be!

Top AND bottom lashes to see here. The bottom lashes were to even out the eye, as we create a little more drama this time, just because it was her wedding! My client wanted them to look a little bit spikey and glam whilst keeping them still looking reasonably natural and OF COURSE safe for the natural lashes!

I’ve found a little trick to create quite dense looking lashes whilst keeping them super light, so as not to damage the natural lashes.
•
I will and would never damage anyone’s natural lashes. I never have and I never will! I will always stand by that! I’d rather lose a client than do something that would damage their lashes.

Asian eyes are not the same as Caucasian eyes so why do the same lash designs?
•
Many have not been taught how to compliment Asian eyes with lashes. There is an art to it.
•
Most people in the UK are only trained to compliment Caucasian eyes but that does not work for Asian eyes. In fact it can make their eyes look either droopy or more closed.
•
No matter what the shape of your eyes or your ethnicity your lash technician should know how to compliment them or sometimes even balance the eyes out as there are never two eyes the same!
•

Who’s excited for the start of Wimbledon? Tennis is my favourite sport to watch. Mainly probably because at least I understand the rules as I used to play to a very high level when I was younger. I’ve always wanted to go but never managed it so congrats to anyone who’s managed to get tickets for this year!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Did you know that even with excess showering and sweating for sporting pros or very active people, my new technique is great and will ensure they do not need infills any more frequently than once every 4 weeks, if not longer if good care is taken!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now that we’re half way through May, and seeing as it’s now the end of , I think it’s about time I get back to posting!

I’m not going to lie I’ve found it hard to post during all these lockdowns. I definitely lost my mojo and it felt wrong and like I’d be sending mixed messages showcasing a treatment you weren’t ‘allowed’ to have. Despite the safety precautions we have always taken for many, many years before anything like Covid came along. Even though so many of my clients have done so well out of having my new technique and the longevity they get from their lashes now!
•
I’ve had a handful of people, some I know, some I don’t, check up on me due to not posting. Which has really opened my eyes to how much people have noticed I’ve been gone and how kind some strangers can be!
•
I’ve had a lot going on in my private life which is another huge reason why I’ve not posted. However I will try and get back on that horse and continue posting.
•

⭐️APRIL 12th UPDATE⭐️
•
To all my wonderful clients and lovely followers who are being incredibly patient at this time regarding appointments.
•
I am delighted to hear the news that our PM thinks we will be finally opening on April the 12th. Although still far away it’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
•
That said, we will continue to keep our waiting list open and be more than happy to add anyone to it, that would like to be on it, for when the time comes to reopen.
•
At current we will continue to not take or make any bookings at present, due to the fact that dates constantly change at the last minute and April 12th is still 7 weeks away.
•
Last year we were promised to be able to open on 3 different occasions. However, each time we were cancelled within less than 24hrs notice each time, causing mayhem and disappointment for everyone each time. So sadly at the moment, my trust in his dates is very low.
•
If all goes to plan we will be looking to make appointments from the week before the 12th of April.
•

Did you know that lower lashes was a thing?
•
Lower lashes ARE a thing. What you see here is black extensions on a very blonde client! Not tinting or dying or the lashes, just eyelash extensions on the top and bottom lashes

I’ve been doing lower eyelash extensions since 2009. I was the first person qualified in the SE of England to apply them with the eyes closed. (NEVER go to someone who will apply them with your eyes open!!!)

FINALLY we ARE OPEN from tomorrow!!! Mobile and Hampstead Studio appointments resume IMMEDIATELY.

Notting Hill will resume hopefully next week.
•
We have already sent out plenty of information packed emails to our clients for our return to work.
•
We have and always will be strict on hygiene and will always take it very seriously whether there is COVID or not.
•
Luckily for us not much has changed regarding what we have to do when we reopen.
•
We can’t wait to see you all again soon!! It’s been toooooooo long!!

Sunday mornings like these....

I love Sunday’s, finally a time to chill after a busy week. The best bit about mornings when having eyelash extensions is knowing you don’t have to waist time applying mascara! You can just get up when you’re ready, brush your hair and go 🏃🏼‍♀️!
