After 10 years and 5 months, it’s time to say goodbye — for now.

When we took over the salon, we were told we wouldn’t last six months. In fact, all but one member of staff walked out shortly after we proved them wrong — prompted, ironically, by us asking everyone to pitch in and help keep the space clean.

From there, through sheer grit, determination, and a focus on quality, we built something we’re incredibly proud of.

Our lease has now come to an end, and with that, we’re closing the doors at our current location.

To our loyal guests — thank you. You’ve supported us through thick and thin, and we’re honoured to have been part of your lives over the years.

And to our brilliant current team — Ileana, Carmen and Aliyannah — thank you for your dedication and for ending this chapter with integrity and heart.

Over the years, many staff have come and gone. Only two previous team members leave with our full respect and warmest wishes: Natalie and Danica — thank you for believing in what we were building, and for supporting the bigger picture with grace and positivity.

Others departed less thoughtfully — leaving without notice, sending messages from airports, or giving reasons we knew didn’t quite match the truth. We always found out where you’d gone within a couple of days, even when you said you were going to work with family or partners, or ended up in salons you once openly criticised.

Even so, we wish you all well — despite the manner of your exits and the lack of honesty shown.

In time, we’ll be sharing more about the next chapter for our little salon — because this isn’t the end, just a pause in it's story, and the end of our part in it.
